Product Details
Our TERA MEA bag is a fun adaptation of a fannypack. You can wear it three ways, crossbody/sling in front or in back, as a hipbelt and over the shoulder.
In the main compartment you have two credit card slots and an open pocket.
Each bag is handmade in Guatemala with full-grain leather and a vintage huipil. A huipil is a traditional shirt woven on a backstrap loom by a female weaver. Each huipil has been previously worn and cherished by an indigenous woman, and after it has lived a long life, it is upcycled into a unique and beautiful part of each bag.
This bag was crafted by our artisan partner Alfonso and his family in a small home workshop in Panajachel. The textile was sustainably sourced from Tomasa at the textile market in Panajachel. Your purchase supports the slow fashion movement and providing dignified job opportunities to indigenous artisans in Guatemala.
Please note actual colors may vary. This is due to computer monitors displaying colors differently and everyone can see these colors differently. We try extremely hard to ensure our photos are as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual color may vary slightly from your monitor.
We know how disappointing it is to find a product you love, just to receive a 'similar' product instead. Each of our bags is one of a kind and we make sure the product you purchase is the same product that you receive.
